Kiss 104.1 To Have Chaka Khan for Their Annual Festival
For the first time in the history of Kiss 104.1 , they have roped in Chaka khan to perform along with other three bands for their annual flashback festival at the amphitheatre at Lakewood. The price range of tickets are from 45 $ to 85$. Khan has delivered a lot of hits including a solo number which was an enormous hit. Khan had previously teamed up with Rufus to give the super hit number , “Tell me something good.” Other three bands performing at the 20th flash back festival are Slick rick, Sheila E and S.O.S band .
Slick Rick is an English born rapper, who has been nominated or Grammy and has four popular albums. He has been acclaimed of being the most successful British American rapper in music industry over the years. Sheila E is a successful multitalented singer and drummer who has worked in collaboration with legendary icons like Prince, Jennier Lopez and Ringo Starr. She has a strong fan following and has millions loving her around the world. She was also featured in “Dancing with the stars” results show. S.O.S band stands for sounds of success, is an American hip hop band which also specialises in R&B and Electro funk . Their songs still are extremely popular .
Kiss has been having a consistent run, having a market share of 6.6 preceded by News 95.5 and AM 750 WSB. It is at no.3 position.

Maya Rudolph to Playthe female Lead In New HBO Drama
Maya Rudolph who starred in the hugely popular “SNL” in NBC is all set to play a boss in the HBO ‘s new drama, “Brothers in Atlanta”. The show is about two black men trying to chase their dreams and make a living out of it in Atlanta city. The prominent characters namely Langston and Moose would be portrayed by Diallo Riddle and Bashir Salahuddin (both are writers and executive producers). HBO is shooting a real to life series or the first time in the city. The much anticipated show would also feature Jaden Smith as a teenage neighbour who annoys the duo.
